(>.> I actually can't remember if it was this book or another one that I read recently where I was unimpressed with the "translation" [obviously also MTL) - bad edits, so I just read my own MTL) ... ANYWAY. Especially after reading another/more truly stupid FLs after this one ... loved the complexities and how characters were set up. LOL I think it'll live in my head rent free how the author hates names/naming characters to anyone who gets a name will be a "major player." I do really wish she and her "brother" had developed a better relationship - what an interesting ~spin/change to her "family." Also ... in a way wish things had been better with bio dad but obviously honestly this was probably for the best.Sweet story. I can definitely see myself re-reading it. Though Jin Wang I think is still my favorite by her, followed by Unparalleled Beauty. Solid B read, at least. I did really like it but kinda didn't love how the end then focused so much of him dreaming their past life, and then the weird one where he's a ghost. Whatever.
